Bo Algers is the initiator of the club and in everyday life, he is a professor at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, where he researches and teaches about animals we have for food, their environment, health and welfare. With his wife Anne, who is Danish, he now lives outside Gothenburg. A past as Citroen B11-enthusiast did not stop Bo to become Volvo fan. In addition to the convertible C70 he also has a S80 II and had a long time ago a very rusty Amazon sports.
Vice Chairman Jan-Aage Haaland is a graphic designer and has worked at the studio at SCB for over 40 years. Previously he worked as a driver in Turkey (Chevrolet Impala), a chef at a restaurant in Örebro and a bit as a teacher of graphic design. He has worked extensively abroad as a consultant to SIDA in different countries in Africa in the 80:ies and early 90:ies, then Russia and Ukraine in the mid 90:ies to 2000 to work in Southeast Asia, Laos and Cambodia. The last few years also work in the Balkans. Besides his great hobbies such as photography and music, Aage drives a tuned Cab 2,4 t -05 in the summer and a coupé 2.0 t -00 in the winter.
Michael Andreasson, deputy, runs his own trucking company. Has had motor interest since childhood. Has been driving rally cars in his youth. Now working mostly with the big cars. Lives in a house in a small town in the middle of Scania called Hörby. Has a C70 coupe.
Anders Lüborg named treasurer, and he works as a dispenser at Saab AB in Linköping since 5years back. Coming originally from Gothenburg, where he has worked for Volvo Cars in 13 years. During his time at Volvo, he has managed to work as an electrician, heaters and cost reduction prodject leader. Anders has always been driving Volvo, even as a kid. The C70 coupe which he owns he has been driving since 2007.
Rickard Nilsson, alternate and webmaster, lives with his partner in a house in Billesholm, a small town just outside Helsingborg. Working on a Scanian equipment rental company; Dennis machinery AB. His interest in engines have been around since the moped age when he started driving folkrace obviously in a Volvo 144. It has always been an obvious choice for Rickard that the car will be a Volvo. After searching for the "right" one for a long time, he found his C70 from 2005 three years ago.
Tore Lund, alternate, lives in Stockholm with wife Cecilia. Works with air treatment and inspects, consults etc. in the area. Cars have always been fun, but when they bought their C70 cab five years ago, their car-life changed completely! Drives a SAAB 9-3 during witer.
